he is a beautiful looking boy ,but the part he played so well is not him,he is a normal straight guy who happens to be a great actor ,his director who forced him to go to gay bars is homosexual to get him to feel for the part ,which he did so well it is now one of the classics…
…I happen to catch the classic movie, “A Death in Venice”, last week on TCM,…I was awestruck at rhe resemblance he had at the time to a boy from my neighborhood named Stephen, who unfortunately drowned over a decade ago…he was Polish, like Tadzio in the movie…also Stephen suffered from being treated like a “piece of meaty dish”, using Andresesn’s words…it is so unfortunate that young Bjorn did not receive the benefit or access to counseling at that time, and I hope he is doing well today as an adult……R.S.
El Sr Robert Stonham -el que me antecede- tiene razón en asociar a esta especie de ángel púber con el personaje de “Muerte en Venecia”. Yo he leído la novela, pero no puedo acordarme del autor (es más conocido que la ruda; me la prestaron). El filme debe sr de los 73, más o menos y si la memoria no me falla el de Luis De Malle. Fue considerada una obra genial por la crítica; sé que el director vio al joven en un aeropuerto europeo y “fue flechado por la peculiaridad del adolescente”. Es algo así como la reencarnación del Puer Delicatus. Recuerodo haber tenido a una Dra Pagella que casi lloraba cuando hablaba de la película.
